yeah probably this color is a good idea for repaint, you are right, at least i dont need to spent extra for door jam and engine bay...... Does IS300 have the same blue as mine i assume?
i was thinking dark grey like newer rolla, good to hide dirt, hard to hide starches lol

    BTW, interior in demo mode

If you want to do dark gray, do the IS300 dark gray GGP. That's my favorite non-blue color! The 2001 IS300 blue was a darker color, more like yours I guess, though not as dark I don't think.

thanks man , i will consider that, but repaint will be another long term project lol..... IS300 in 04-05 do have the same color as my car, Indigo ink pearl (8P4)...... btw . 01-03 they have different blue ( 01 is another paint code than 02,03)

That's what color I went with lol.

But I think it needs more aggressive mods to pull off correctly, might be too "loud" of a color for your car

haha i guess lol, but still a lot of stock subaru rock this color , i always think if i go that color , i will paint my rim gold first....... but i might tend to keep indigo ink pearl, this color isnt bad, just hard to maintain to be honest ( easier than black, though)

Yeah maybe a shade of blue lighter than yours but more subtle than the Subaru color would work. My IS color now is in between, and honestly I like it more than when I had the Subaru color because it's just more subtle and clean, even though it's not quite as blue.

But even stock Subaru with that color has stuff like huge spoilers, wide body, hood scoops, wheels, mudflaps, etc

Was your rear bumper ever replaced or repainted? I know they don't match perfectly because they are different materials but that looks more off than normal.

I noticed that in the one pic.... but couldn't that discoloration also happen with age?

I have repainted mine, since i relocate my stupid state inspection sticker from bumper to a metal plate, as one of my owner repainted without taken the sticker off, so it become 2 layer of paint, i used dupli color to paint it, its match so i didnt do much stuff on it to be honest

hahaha, but at least dupli color paint match up with rest of the paint lol , since eventually this car may get a repaint, maybe i will leave it as is, since it still matchup haha.

    Heres some update

Bring my car to Spocom Hawaii, good experience, and successfully drive tons of haters on my car, including one of my good friend who drive a 9th gen and i posted his car here earlier. But i do admit, maybe its time to add something for exterior and TRD springs i guess, but still better than a STOCK HYUNDAI GENESIS ( yes, nothing mod, stock wheels), but anyway, i feel proud of my car, love it and bring it to car show facing people like a man lol

this is stock car i am talking about ( my friend said this car is shiny and eyecatching than your, serious, this thing is bone stock)

Yeah final car show with this car will HIN in december, see u all there, thanks for support.
p.s: i mean maybe its time for a new ride, maybe something with a better platform ?
Plus, maybe the day for piraticalcar and mods are gone just realize that.

lmao, you are the man! it take serious ballz to bring a corolla to a car show without serious mods.

bro you just need some lip kit and coilovers. Do what cBass did to her car.

    mad props man lol

to you all, my car do have mods, just mainly fixing up, condition it, rear disk conversion, steering wheel, shifter/e brake, interior lighting, but i realize maybe it isnt enough.

Phan, to be honest i do have mods, just doesnt have much, and speaking of no seirous mods, i think those hyundai can take this pride with them more than me ...

I am currently finding TRD spring for my car, maybe little supension adjustment , since once i lower, my rear will be hell, cause look at how slim the gap is already, i even scarpe right now with my tire and stuff sometimes...... Oh yeah, spoiler, but its all about budget lol cBass car, oh well, but i am not a handyman as him.... plus if mine is like a clone to cBass, u all will just think i copy him..... i am not huge friend for bodykit and stuff, but maybe time to update a bit, since it will be my last show possibly with this car......

those Hyundai are in a whole different class. a basic genesis commands a 210hp while the premium genesis is almost 400hp. so yeah corolla and genesis are not to be compared with...

but that does not mean you can't make your corolla much more unique than a genesis to a civic. it just take guts. like you said you got mods in your ride why not some aerodynamic. it would surely standout from the rest. just my 2 cents.

just get a TRD kit, its the cleanest look you will get for our cars....you get the whole package i can give you a good deal since shipping to Hawaii is pretty cheap....

As i told you before....im willing to remove my springs for a good price since i have TRD springs....they give a nice drop....not too low but not too high like the oem springs make it sit ridiculously high...

i totally understand what you all think..... i agree aerodynamic is something lack of on my car, i am thinking about a big spoiler ( like STI/TYPE R DC2/dc5 one), not GT Wing since that will make my car super weird.... true, every car do have charm i realize and it doesn't necessary for me to switch car just because of platform or eyecatching.

thanks for all useful comment man, at least it isnt hate for god sake

I am more interest in TRD Spring to be honest than anything in this moment..... i mean no matter how against my family give me this time, i am going for it. i will contact you asap as i am also looking at japanese TRD one, they have a green short shock absorber kit or their trd lower spring...... yeah i agree, it does a little bit high i finally realize and trd spring will be good since it is factory part as well.

TRD kit wise, i will contact you soon as well, if i cant bring spoiler / bodykit from home to here, than i might order it from you for the lip, since i like the lip too as well ( since i dont need to rewire my 3rd brake light lol)

thanks for u all helping or offer man, very appreciate

Why are you so interested in TRD springs vs other lowering springs?
