Actually a dealer here in so-cal still carries those brand new but for $80 the whole set of 4. The trunk corolla floor mat, that ones is a pretty penny too

oh wow, my local dealer dont even carry that anymore. 80 bucks for facotry mat, if u truly love your car, its worth, but a used set maybe only 40-50 bucks from a parting out car ( if the last owner take proper care), the trunk mat i want it too , next item on my list, how expensive is it?

yeah, thanks to stupid law, not until i move and start driving on tracks, than i may lower it a bit ( but keep it daily useable with speed bumps) , or pack up another one for track use lol
If i can find Factory lowering spring, than i may do it too ( since i can claim it is factory parts and install from the dealer)

i want adjustable height supension lol

TRD lowering springs...you can easily say it came like that from the factory, its not the lowest drop but it is better than being SUV height.

but isnt TRD lowering spring hard to find for our car anymore? yeah i was planning about saying that too ( facotry part, when i buy my car it looks like this)
i mean 8th gen stock height is quite low, just drop a little bit more will be nicer lol.

all good, but good luck finding them....i found these on ebay new old stock, but if you really are moving as you say then i suggest waiting...maybe then you can buy a full coilover system or some Tein S tech, they drop the car a bit lower than TRD springs.

If anything i might just put my Tokico and TRD springs on my 5 speed corolla.

just heard a bad news from my friend, seems i need to go get that special premit too even if i gonna use trd spring, cause they may consider trd as aftermarket option but not factory stuff. ( same logic, sportdesign Lexus or F sport lexus will need it too?). unless i find a set which i really want it, otherwise i will just wait until i bring the car to the great land of USA (not a island though), than a whole new setup( cause i bet my KYB Excel G will need to BE replace by that time lol), and enjoy my supension with nothing to worry ( as soon as i meet height standards)

hawaii, the worst place for people who like lowered cars. i rather deal with smog test seriously.
    Added: Apr 2, 2014 at 9:00 PM
p.s: they claim that special permit inspection system is for car safety lol, come on !!! i bet they only target lifted or lowered car, whats the stupid point of it lol.

cant wait to move once again, better study hard lol

of course there is something call police discretion and legal or not. if you gonna be legal, u need to get that premit via a special inspection. the cops may pull u over, and your car is low and u dont have premit, or u do have premit and they will check the paperwork, if anything isnt the same, they will confiscate your inspection stickers, they will write you ticket, they will put registration stopper on your car and see u at court. the old inspection system they can just like ask for a inspection cause only paper base, but the new system require taking picture so cheating isnt possible for now.

so cops like to target mod car just like some in CA too.
    Added: Apr 5, 2014 7:17 PM
they have bumper height rule ( same as CA), but they have bounce test, which a inspector will push your car at 4 corner, your suspension gotta show 1-2 inch traveling ( it is hated by a lot of people, whats the point of it )
