You mean kind of an incentive to keep active on the board?

Yeah... maybe have some sort of formula for rankings based on post and on rep points... like someone that has 1000 posts and 5 rep points would be at the same rank as someone with 500 posts and 10 rep points... have it so theres an incentive to stay active, but also an incentive to have quality posts (and I give myself 1 rep point for this good idea, lol )

Maybe not exactly that formula, but that general idea...

Uh the post count is only not visible from the Red theme. It can still be seen on the others...

if you do get rid of the post count, how would members like me (new) know when they have reached 50 posts to start a thread?

even though the poll has not closed or anything the mods have decided to take the post count off anywayz. so why take it out in the first place when only 20 members have voted?

The new system seems like it'll continue to work.

I like that idea, but we can't do it without keeping postcounts. What ive seen on several other forums that seems to work (supraforums for example) is a system of both postcounts and reputation, so if people are simply postwhoring and not posting anything of value, others end up giving them negative rep points.

I think this idea is actually a better way to go....I didn't like my post count anyways...

Yeah I dunno.. Maybe CB will take care of it Sat when he updates the site. Kind of a "kill all the birds with one grenade" type of deal.

it don't matter to me since my contacts and glasses are blue tinted hehe.
