SVT contour aren't those the performance versions from FORD? they have like 250 to 271 hp right. they can run but loose top end power from what my neighbor had. his was green with black leather. its funny how it can take out the accord on first gear alone but after second kicked in i just left him about 3 cars behind. don't get me wrong its still a fast car for the buck.

yeah the "SVT" for ford is equivilant to our "XRS"...it actually only has 200hp, but it's plenty for me right now. I wanted one for a while and about a week ago a guy brought one into my job and I get to "test drive" it (had to make sure that alignment was right :D ) and that thing HAULS!!!! and the stock exhaust sounds mean as hell...as soon as I can find one in great shape then I'm getting one

i asked my neighbor about his this morning and form the paperwork his was rated at 273.4 hp at the front wheels. But then again his was fixed up. that was the one i raced and took him out with, he is the same owner that has the BMW M3 coupe'. yeah it does sound bad ass, now that the accord's exhaust got fixed it almost sounds the same.

Well after my 9th gen, and when I'm done with college, I'll looked for a used Audi RS6 since they were discontinued. Even if its the wagoin version I'll take it for the mere fact that it'll run circles around most cars, and will do it with class.

Now there is an idea - the Audi RS6. Love to pick one of those up - but would likely kiss my driver's license goodbye from all the tickets I would possibly generate.

Looking at something currently that has a smaller kick => having a 2002 Audi S4 Avant Wagon shipped up here from a different location - should be here in a few days. Price is right, low miles, all the safety features and overall size we were looking at, bi-turbo V6, 6 speed, and looking forward to the testdrive.

Kind of liked the little Audi's but not reallly feeling the new body style (the nose in particular). Kind of liked the previous version with the same basic body style and more subtle nose.

Should be able to find a ton of aftermarket support for this car. Also gives me the chance to maybe do something with the Corolla - all ready out of warranty and paid off - hum >> mabe use the smaller turbos off the S4 ?!.

Hopefully the car is in good shape - the only problems that I've heard about them is their appetites for rotors, and spotty maintenance records from previous owners, and punishing ride quality - or so they say.

Downsides - insurance will go up Cha-ching! when you say twin turbo (about 50% higher than the Corolla), bright red paint, and about 24-25MPG on the highway if I practice enough restraint to stay out of the gas.

HEY! I just test drove the new Impreza WRX wagon.

I didnt like the look The interior feels and looks like a sports car which i dont really like it handles like a sports car also because of the feel the road suspension so its not a luxury feeling, I didnt like that either, and the performance is so good I love how it accelerates and the handling too is good but I think its just made for performance and nothing else. I might not be getting this becase it looks feels and performs like a "Rally Car":)

I'll just cashbuy a Yaris 5spd and mod it, after another week I'll buy a G35 sedan or a LexusIS, I'll just buy next year because Im going on a vacation to Asia for 5months because I refinanced my other house and got $110,000:) because I used to work as a nurse not CNA but quit and had a long vacation I'll get back to work next year, so I can buy one more house ,and also you might be thinking Im a nurse, and how come I just have a Corolla? well I like it because it looks like a Benz and dont want to maintain many cars also its cheap on gas and has many mods and Im only single so I only need 1 car Im not a dad who drives ugly minivans and american SUVs ya know.:D

That is why God (and Subaru :D ) made the Legacy GT. All the power and luxury combined. Same reason I did not buy the WRX and went with the Legacy GT.

The S4 turned out a little rougher than I first expected, with as low miles as advertised. Suspect areas (rear quarters, door - smooth to the touch, but obvious signs of primer over-spray in the door jams) and 5 speed Tiptronic (was advertised as the 6 speed) - so no sale.

Too bad - was a really nice car with the right size and semi-utility (Avant body style). Oh well - search continues.
