    This is why I'm broke

I'm never one to brag about what's waiting to be installed but just to prove the AE100's arn't a dying breed.

    Pics of things to come..

I know recaro is less Jay Dee Em than Bride, but it's more madd racer style yo!
I'm using it to play GT4 until memoryfab gets my rails in along with my AE111 rear disc setup

What you gonna do with your old suspension setup and how much did your cusco's cost? Madd props for makin' your car JDM too, but what you need is the cusco front and rear strut bars along with the front lower arm bar to make a hot setup.

Question?. Would that Cusco suspension kit fit the 98-02 with a little modification?

Nah I'm planning on getting a set of british harnesses by Willans.. my old set of Schroths are going on ebay sometime soon. Takatas are too rich for me, the puke green color isn't helping either. Besides Recaros are a bit more respectable IMO.

Install wouldn't be for a while, right now i'm concentrating on school, maybe christmas break? But install for these are wayyyy easier than spring/strut combos because they already come with the top mounts installed and no spring compressors necessary :D I've already done a few of these full suspension installs on other cars. It shouldn't ride any more harsher than normal strut/spring setup because the strut is perfectly valved and matched for the springs. My buddy has a cusco setup but with inverted monotube design (zero2R) and a much higher spring rate on his wrx and it didn't ride all that bad. Handling would probably inprove by a lil ;)

I don't want to say what the Cusco cost me because a buddy gave me a hookup, MSRP is about $2,280.00. I want to get a cusco 3point strut bar for the front but i'm having trouble finding one and its too much bank (until then my TRD Jpn 3point will do), the rear strut bar cusco only make for the FX hatchback and the wagon, Arm bars would only fit with a MT, which is next up. I'm also considering putting up a Cusco/Safety21 roll bar if I can't get one in the US. I have a local guy intrested in my old susp setup.

Cusco designed this coilover for the suspension geometry of the AE101/111, they would fit 98-02 as well as 88-92 and ocourse 93-97. Toyota kept the same susp geometry from 88-02 until the cheaped out in 03.

What was your old setup? Coilovers? If that guy doesn't buy them then I will. Any chance you can hook other people up with discounts?

ninety four.. nah I had TRD Japan Springs with Tokicos, nice setup just not serious enough for what I need them for.

Yeh Recaro makes aftermarket seats that recline. The one that come with the EVO is a Recaro "sport." Its a comfy seat but not much with the lateral support. Also Recaro "Speed" which my buddy has that has massive thigh support, it comes in a varity of colors & fabric choices. I needed a seat that is FIA.

Seriously dude.... Bring ur car down to socal around winterish... My car will be set up almost completely so we can go run streets of willow. I'll talk to you about it on AIM or something.

    Good job!

Kenny, nah I have people in Japan trying to rip me off. Shipping, taxes, exchange rates and a bunch of other bs. But it did get here a month ahead of schedule. Why I have to drive down to socal? u drive up to norcal, we can hit up Laguna Seca, Infineron or Thunderhill. I still need to drop in a 5spd with a LSD, I'm thinking kaaz 1.5way!

Tommy, i drive it to school/work and track it occationally. I try to avoid driving my own car at all cost :D

cuztom, dont worry man, i still love u. :p

lmfao.. the only honda I would want to drive would be s2k and nsx. But I really like the looks of a ITR or GSR with JDM front conversion, pwr isn't bad either. Don't worry about me giving up on the rolla, I already spent too damn much and there is very little chance I could get what its worth if i ever part it out.
I'm really not trying to make my car "JDM," it just so happens that japanese companies make parts for the car.

Kaaz would probably be easier to get serviced than Cusco, and I think Cusco for our trannys is only 1way. Besides there are some gbs goin on for kaaz every now and then for 6-7bills.

cuztom, u can have my wallet lint
