No turbo, they supercharged it though. Upped the power to 425 I think they said. Katzkin seats etc. It was actually pretty nice.

my brother in law's brother works for ford, he works in detroit, something along the lines of shifter/clutch design.
he gets to bring home awesome cars. he brought home an 07 shelby cobra gt 500 mustang...you know, the supercharged one with like 500+ hp. it was the real deal, it had manufacturer plates, and a big red button on the dash to kill the electrical if something goes wrong. that car pulled so hard i almost crapped myself. the stripes had the wrong places for the windsheild washers cut in them. it was missing the vents that go on the hood. it was missing the shelby logo on the back also. 19" wheels, amazing car. i want one.

a couple of weeks later he brought home the same car, but the convertible version. some dude screwed it up at the test track, second gear had a bad synchro, so he had to double clutch it to get into second, so he didn't get to do anything crazy. this one seemed complete, except that it lacked the radio and still had the red "
    oh crap" button.

two cars i didn't get to see that he brought home was a ford f150? harley davidson edition, with a big lift kit on it
oh yeah, he brought home the ford GT....usually when he brings the cars home, the people in the neighborhood kinda just notice and watch a little from a distance, when he brought this home, he had to be careful pulling into the driveway because of low clearance, by the time he parked it, he had a group of 10 people looking over the car. i guess it's like 43" high or something...i'm jealous i wish i had pics, but he isn't allowed for the mustang

ya know - i refuse to watch that show anymore... the term ' overhaulin ' does not mean ' modify newer car ' .... so ghei. whatever happened to the days of goin n pickin up some guys beat up old camaro or mustang and finishing the restore on it and makin it look badass? sadly overhaulin has been following in the footsteps of pimp my rideand its pathetic... (but i will give credit that OH does actually modify stuff correctly and doesnt just hack job the thing) --- OH gets the same treatment PMR gets - ignored.

I like it more than pimp my ride. PMR is just rice it out, or so called "pimping". They just fix up the int and ext to make it look nice. But in overhauling, they actually restore the car. That makes their car more reliable than the Pimp My Ride ones. Plus, they do it the tuner way.

Apparently the guys at West Coast Customz don't have much say in the PMR vehicles they get. MTV tells them what they want in it and what to do with it, hence not fixing the engine but making LAY Z KAY: They just fix up the int and ext to make it look nice. But in overhauling, they actually restore the car. That makes their car more reliable than the Pimp My Ride ones. Plus, they do it the tuner way.

I don't know if WCC actually does good engine work but we can all agree that they do a pretty good job of pimpin' out the interior and exterior of the car.

Chip Foose or Boyd Coddington, that is the question.

see, thats exactly what I just had a comment about. i liked overhaulin when they did RESTORE projects. Not take a newer car (say 5-10yrs or less old) and tune it up. Ghei. Roll in the old rust buckets and make em look bangin! *THAT* is Overhaulin something.

nothing wrong with tuning a new car... just the original premise of that show was to take old cars that the owners had no time to actually make cool and basically do it for them...

exactly thank you Kris - this is why I don't subscribe to this show anymore and I think the producers of the show have sold out.
