The trailer will be here today...

..so we'll pack it up (hopefully only once..I'm not too fond of repacking), and hopefully leave early tomorrow morning.

Movings a pain in the ass....I move out of my current house on Friday and Saturday....only moving 15 miles east though.
And I have to unload a 10X15 storage unit as well. I have a 24 foot box truck on reserve. Fun.

Cool, Newhampshire. Beautiful country out there.

    Live free or DIE!

Are you going on part of this? :p

    http://www.freestateproject.org/

I was thinking of NH because it's on the east coast and close enough to Baltimore to visit family. They've got alot of country out there, and it's not too expensive. I've always wanted to live farther north, but not sure if I was thinking of Alaska. :)

Well good luck on your move. I hope it goes smooth and you have a fun trip up there. (I like road trips) May it be a good experience for you!

lol - at least you can make a few trips. Try 6 people just with a 5x8 trailer (and cars, but that's not much)..going about 1400 miles..

We downsized -- considerably. And we're very good at packing. ;)

I'm taking the computer down shortly, so I'll be out of touch with everyone for about a week, give or take. If there's some random reason anyone needs to contact me (doubtful..lol), Doc should have my # somewhere. I'll let you all know when I make it :)

Nope..just a small standing drawer-thing (dunno what to call it), and a small table to give my aunt in PA.

We're in NC now - the trailer doesn't have enough tongue weight, so we have to run ~55mph..it sucks. Hopefully we'll get a chance to repack it when we stop in PA.

On the plus side..we're going so slow that my rolla is getting ~36.5mpg, and my MR2 got 37mpg (and if my math was right..and if the gas pump wasn't messed up, 44.xx mpg on the second fillup..)..lol

We're heading out from Cornelius NC this morning - hoping to make it to Easton PA, but I'm not too sure we'll make it..might have to stop and sleep at a rest stop, and get there tomorrow morning. We may stay another day in PA..so we should get to NH on Thursday or Friday. :)

They accidentally loaded the trailer with not enough tongue weight, and if they go over 60 then it sways really bad, so they're driving at 55 the whole way

Today they're supposed to reload it so they should be up here by tomorrow no problem.

I guess they packed it really tight. Bottom line, the repacked it yesterday and sure enough, it tightened right up. They rolled into town late tonight. :)

'Only' a 5x8 is a lot more work than you'd think -- especially when it's packed as tightly as it is now. I doubt most people can pack so much stuff in such a small space. :p

    Anyway, we're here! :)
