Thanks guys, I got the new power steering pump and she's running again! I filled up the flat tire and threw it in the pool. It seems the tire has a slow leak, it's drivable I assume as it hasnt flattened all week. I'll be getting bolts for the rims on the 24th as that's when I get paid cuz I'm broker than broke right now. It also seems I have an oil leak? My car has 172,000 miles which I guess leaks are expected... I got an oil change 1300 miles ago and she was down 2 1/2 qts... so filled her back up and shes running good again.

What i did notice on almost all 8th gen corollas ive worked with, they will have a slow oil leak from the old gasket on the oil pan, both my corollas had that problem, i would always see small black dots on my driveway but i replaced the oil pan gasket and oil pan since they were smashed in from driving. Now i dont have any leaks.

But dont assume its that, try and crawl under your car with safety stands and see visually where the leak is coming from.

I would still replace that at your next oil change anyway, and drop the pan and see if you got sludge in there. You're getting up there in miles but if you take care of the leak and problems, you can go another 100k easy

You didn't have a TRD edition corolla DAB
So you never had the door sticker that he has.

    link> oil pan <link

I bought 2 pans and an automatic transmission filter from these guys and they knocked off 20% from the final cost. You then need to go to an auto parts store, the gasket is about $8? but if you want something a bit better id recommend using "The right stuff" its a gasket maker designed to hold even on high temps from the motor. auto stores sell it for $10
