tein h tech springs and tokico blues

i installed tein h tech springs and tokico blues in my 99 rolla today and have a few questions. first off, i could not find what looked like a bump stop anywhere, does anyone have a picture of where it is so i can get it cut accordingly? second, do the springs and struts need some time to break in? or could their be an alignment issue as i couldnt cornor as hard as i could before with the factory springs and struts. that makes me a little worried lol. id appreciate any suggestions or tips you guys have to offer.

i think VAMP has pictures of the install (vamp.darkravers.net)

    you should get an alignment

i looked over his guide, nothing in there that i missed. i heard that you should let your springs settle before getting an alignment, is this true?

You should never abuse new parts...but we all do it...but everything is just like a brand new motorcycle, you can't red-line the thing right out of the crate, you have to break it in...relax, drive calmly and let your new suspension break-in. You'll be pleasantly surprised after it does.

the bump stop is a piece of rubber about 2.5 inches high and about 1.5 inches in diameter on top and about 1.25 inches in diameter on the bottom... I had that exact setup on my 94 Corolla, and I could corner alot harder with it (still limited by tires though :|)

Maybe double check that everything was properly installed (we installed something wrong at first, but we caught it before taking it out for a spin...)

The bump stop? It's already there, on the 98-02 Corolla's, you are suppose to cut it (there should have been a piece of paper with your springs showing how much and where to cut it)

I think the bump stops should be on your old struts.
Did you leave the original springs on your old struts and removed them as 1 unit?
