So how will you save on a monthly basis?

Just doesnt seem worth it to me to get an extra 26 miles per tank.

Cant you use zipties or something?

216 miles... and it was raining all the time like a mofo
    but it was 32.6L (8.6gallons) (25.1mpg)

    instead of the usual 38~41L (39.5L = 10.4 gallons) (18.1 mpg) for 190
where I live is near impossible to get good mileage

and no, nothing's broken in the car

last tank alone was 4 dollars less, not bad for 2 dollars in materials

I am going to make a lexan mold so it's a hard clear plastic, that doesn't turn yellow in the sun, but I'm not in the mood to spend god knows how much dollars in it yet

cause I'd need to get some rubber molding for the hood so it doesn't crack the lexan, the zip ties, a sealant that dries transparent, some gaskets, and if I can't cut the lexan pay someone to do it... etc etc

I has no power tools, just a socket 10mm and 12mm since I can't take half the car apart with them lol

There is a early 90's s10 that drives around with the rear tire skirts, front skirt and a bunch of other stuff. I thought he was just trying to make it look like a caddy, but now im wondering if he was doing it for this reason? If I see it I will share some pics with you guys. The thing looks soo fugly.

    massive lulz...
    post horror!
I don't think I'm doing more crap to the car...
all other mods I see are for highway speeds (side body and back mods)

so I don't think I'll be doing the kammback now...
since my drive mix is 90-10 city-hwy

I doubt I can make a mold with my car, front is very ill fitting... body working friend would have to cut the rad support and lift it like 1 1/4 cm or so...

put you could so your own cheap grill block with hard thin plastic (think like the plastic in those toy packaging...
an exacto knife and 2 zip ties (or hot glue gun for something a bit more permanent

Pretty darn good!! That's a huge gain from your typical numbers you got before and fairly consistent with that 25MPG figure you got before. A 33%+ improvement in fuel economy is a stellar accomplishment - awesome work.
