    i did start the thread, but does it state anywhere in there that im trying to make myself feel better?????

    and yes the traffic wasnt tied up like it was, but where the hell are we gonna go? we dont have any family, and we're not that well off either.
    by the time my aunt called us and told us we could stay at there house(kerrville, texas) it was late in the afternoon and traffic conditions had made a turn for the worse.

    yeah, excited. its pretty cool how all the nieghbors are pitching in to help each other. and we're not in the path of the hurricane itself, we're just gonna get the winds and rains. ive been to vietnam and held my ground in a typhoon, which bythe way is hell of alot worse than this.

    katrina is alot different. i dont understand how you're comparing new orleans to houston.

    How is a typhoon in Vietnam worse than a Cat 4, 5 hurricane? You do realize that a typhoon is the same thing as a hurricane, dont ya?

    And your comparisons about the cities make absolutely no sense......

    And what else would you get with a hurricane, other than winds and rain??

    we are all prepared for the worst. boarded up the windows, the cars have a safe place, the animals will be safe. im expecting rain and wind.

    He made it hostile, not me.

    He posts up saying that a huge hurricane is coming right at him, that hes scared, blah blah blah, then he starts to play it down like its no big deal. I come in and try to convince him to move his ass outta there so he doesnt become dead, and he takes offense to it. Then calls me an asshole.

    I am still waiting on a reply from Corollasbest telling me how any of my posts were "hateful"...I never called him a name.....the truth fucking hurts sometimes, and some people just need everything to be sugarcoated for them I guess.
