Yeah let's see.

1. I think I hit a curb stop on my trip down to Florida, just made two little marks though
2. Then on my way to Georgia, I ran over something big and hard at night on the highway, that did the most damage, ripped off the lip and took off most of the paint
3. Then I crashed into my garage, put a lot of white marks on the side of the bumper
4. Then I pulled forward in a parking spot to leave, for some reason there was another curb stop there, the front lip got caught on it and ripped off again lol.

Yeah the paint is completely destroyed. But I'll paint my new lip and install that some time.

But not without going back to see what you're talking about.

I got some LEDs in today. The 7440 came from Ebay, and the rest from autolumination.com.



It seems everyone raves about these projector-style reverse lights, and since my tail lights were perfect for them, I figured why not have a go. I got these because they have lots of bright LEDs around the side to light up the reflectors, and the bulbs themselves look nice enough (since they will be plainly visible).

Installed... you can see the V-LED Tritons in the signals:





Well, I am definitely not impressed. They are nowhere near as bright, even with the LEDs in the reflectors.





So much for being able to see when I back up.... they are 6000k color.

The #194 and #24 from that picture up there went into the gauges. One of the A bulbs did as well, it's a red LED for the door open indicator, since it wasn't a #74 like the rest of them for some reason.

For some reason, the #194 are 6000k, and the #24 are 5000k. Oh well. They light up the gauges pretty evenly... the 20 MPH is a little darker, but whatever.



The LEDs are a little brighter than stock, but not too bright to be annoying. Just right! Here they are compared to the rest of the lighting... makes it look rather dull.



I also put one of the white #74s (they are also 6000k) in the glovebox.

I'll finish the rest of the LEDs tomorrow... it means taking apart the whole center console again.

Wow glad I waited to see how your led projector bulbs worked out, looks like a waste of money.

Yeah it was 100% a waste, threw them both in the trash before even installing the other one

haha no, I did install them, but I'll be on the lookout for something better. I think the Tritons would be brighter, but I don't really have the space behind there for them.

I'll grab my hammer (again) Already had to use it on the signals lol. But there's even less room behind the reverse, and these bulbs have extra connectors and stuff also.

I think I'm gonna put those 60 LEDs I showed you, in the reverse lights. I only have little 48 ones in there, and with my 5% tint, it's hard to see where I'm going. The base is a different size but I'll just expand it out to make it fit.

Nice, so you'll get different LEDs for the signal?

No I have 2 sets

lol. I actually did that waaaay back in the day, I had white LEDs in both lights like that, and I wired up a mess to make them both flash with the signal, and both light up with the reverse. Kinda like some cars have DRLs with their front signals.

Well that's excessive and gay. I just want bright lights, but functioning like OEM

Get amber LEDs, so it functions like OEM.
