headlights wont turn off

    headlights wont turn off

    after i shut off the ignition the headlights, tails and dash lights all stay on.

    whats that all about? never did that before

    ummm did u by any chance just turned the lights on manually? it happens to me dude and man do I feel stupid when I'm trying to get technological about it and I find out is that..... I dk just a thought and it happens lol

    i cant turn the headlights on manually

    DRLs, automatic on and off

    unless theres some sort of manual option that i dont know about...

    which i doubt, since the dash lights and taillights are on aswell


    its like its stuck on "on"

    not DRL's, your regular headlight switch

    btw now's probably a good time to unhook ur batt or you wouldnt even be able to start it if u need to the next day.

    if you did not turn the switch then your relay to the auto on /off feature got stuck and may need to be replaced.

    they're connected to the headlights. they turn on as one unit with the tails and headlights.

    did turning them off manually work?

    I remember the guy that couldn't make his car turn off.. he had it idling in the driveway while he posted for help. Think the solution was to drop the clutch. Here I'd say pull the battery out until we figure out that headlamp switch.

    Maybe your headlight relay broke and got stuck in the on position. The relay is under the drivers side dash on the left side.
