I've come to a decision about modding my rolla...

Well after endless weeks of serious thought and changing my mind every other day lol I've decided that I will work on the car as I go on and I WILL NOT get a loan like I had planned since I don't want to get stuck with payments and well the only bad cause of this is that I will have to wait longer than I want to cause I want boost soo bad but patience is all that counts so it's all good I guess, it'll still be finished but it'll take a while more so just sharing with everyone

Just hang tight for a couple of years, build up a good wad of cash, and then boost yours at the same time I swap engines and supercharge.

yea man good call and well I'd rather play it smart and not rush it really... waiting ain't that bad of a thing after all hehehe

Yea to be done with the car it'll be till next fall/winter and that's if nothing else comes up (hopefully not) but well I'm starting with suspension and the wheels and then after xmas I'm going to get that motor and tranny from Vortex and build those throughout the year and buy my turbo parts as I go on.... so hopefully everything goes accordingly.

2007 the new motor comes out.
2008 they'll have the bugs worked out, that's when I'll swap and boost.

That's the downside to big brake kits though, you have to upgrade rim size. The TRD big brake kit for the Tundra requires 18's. I'm not sure how it works with the Corolla, but I would expect the same thing. But you are going to do the suspension pretty soon right? ...you need that, bad.

yea I will buy my suspension and brake pads this thursday and then have them installed and the suspension when it comes in and then when travis gets his new wheels I'm buying his current ones and tires too... and YES u do have to upgrade wheel size for the big brake kit, my current brembos will do though hehehe

    Read it and weep.

TRD Big Brake Kit - FRONT ONLY

Then you gotta buy the Speed of Sound Performance rear disc conversion if you want to lose the drums in the back.
But I made a mistake, I guess they changed the big brake kit to accomodate 17" on the Tundra. That's cool that you found a rotor and pad combo without having to upgrade rim size drastically, let's hope the pads aren't crap.
