i doubt its ur O2 sensor try cleaning out your Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) with a q-tip becareful to not bend the electronic sensor.

If you have a 2002+ Corolla then the MAF is the first thing you should try cleaning.

O2 sensor can also cause drivability problems - but the MAF, if equipped, is usually the culprit. Other things to check are loose vacuum hoses, cracked or leaking airbox, etc.

i thought it was the 00-02 that had the MAF since the VVT-i was introduced at the same time.

you can simply one the air box, and bend it back a little bit to expose the sensor and you can clean it like that.Make sure the car is Off.

Doh! My mistake - I though I typed 2000+ and not 2002+. Must be one too many beers tonight. :)

the little electrode that is located inside the airbox. it may be dirty and you may not be really abel to see it. is located inside the circular part of the the sensor housing.

hehe, thats why u shouldn't drink but its cool as long as you don't drive.
