Camber question...need help!!

hey guys/gals...i've got a question about cambering...i just got some new wheels...Enkei RS7s...18"...tires=225/40...offset is unknow...i also have the Tein S tech drop...2.5" drop...i think it's settled to about 2.75...anyway...

here is the problem...my rear wheels are rubbin...actually its all four...but the back ones bug the most...especially when i carrie heavy things in the back...or carry people...i actually cant carry anyone in the back seat or when i hit a bump on the freeway going fast it will rub...but it i think it doesnt rub onthe wheel well...i think it rubs on the edge of the fender...if that makes any sense...anyway...

question: i figure that if i could tilt the wheel in a bit...it would stop rubbin on the edge ofthe fender...so here is my question...if i get a camber kit...could i camber my rear wheels in?? what affect does that have on the car? is it a good or bad idea?

its still gonna rub either way and the tire size you have it wil definately do that until either you lift it or get different tires.but then again didn't toyota put a soild rear dead axle or are they independent. i forgot. but if solid you should be able to adjust the rear camber if independent i doubt it it will just hit the inner fenderwell and possibly the frame.

no offense but the handling must suck.

you should be able to fix the rear camber and adjusment with no problem just the tire size is a bit big for the size of the rims.

handling is fine...and yea i know the tires are too big for the rim size...but i got the wheels have some guy online...they weren't bought brand new...I'm gonna wait for a while and then get new tire.

were can i get a good camber kit? are the ones on E-bay an alright brand? and how does a camber kit work? just install and thats it? sorry i'm kinda new to the camber thing...thanks again!

to be honest i have no idea about aftermarket camber kits. i have kept it to stock all the time.Plus its not like i can adjust my rear wheels because if the suspension setup. independent so my tires sit inward really bad and pushing them out will cause them to hit the fenderwell.BTW i would'nt trust e-bay that much.

get smaller wheels and tires, 18" is huge imo

i had 18's formerly look at the signature photo.

if it's rubbing. check your fender if it's touching the tire. if it is, then roll the fender.
if it's hitting the spring, get spacers, as long as its not too much to hit the fender.
if its hitting both, sell the wheels and get somethign less wide.
