what i've learned is that its bad to have stock struts with lowering springs... because the struts are not designed to be compressed all the time... and its probably bumpy coz it has a much stiffer spring rate...

RIGHT YOU ARE KEN!!! I dk about you man I mean you can buy them but for some springs that have been used for 1 year I wouldn't buy them, hell not even used for a week I would buy them. If I was you I'd save up another 50 bucks and buy them new, never trust used suspension parts

Jsut like what Cuztomrollaz98 said, save up a bit more $$$ and get some new spring instead.

I'm using S-tech with stock struts on my 01. I felt like I was riding a boat since the stock struts couldn't absorb all the *bounce force ( I dojn't know the right term), but I got used to it in 2 weeks.

The rear will rub the fender when turning left or right more than 35km/h if I have 3 ppl seating at the back and of coz it rub like crazy when going over speed bump.

As you said it hit the wheel wall with stock spring when you have ppl in in the back, I'm 100% sure it will be a lot worse if you got S-tech with stock struts.

    A couple of things:

Mix in a spell checker or a dictionary.

Springs used for one year are probably fine. Teins are good quality and should last the life of your car.

I would get some good sport struts because S Techs will cause your stock struts to blow quickly if they aren't already.

S Techs are a big drop so yes they will be bumpy. Try to work out a lower price but if you can't why not get them for only $70?
