Someone did post that air intake on the forum... and its even worse than a fake one in my opinion, because of all the bends and lenght it will actually decrease airflow an secondly, it will be exposed alot more to the elements (rocks especially) which could tear through the filter element and allow contaminants to reach your engine and provide nice side effects...

Clearly you have never owned one and as for the price of getting something that pawnz both the M3 and M5 and the new M6 is just bs, its a matter of exclusivity and making a statement.just speaking from owning previous BMW's in the past.

I may be just a "ricer" but I think I speak for every one when I say I would rather stick my hand in a blender than buy a faux I/C.

    ...pathetic.

It's all good, I just dont like BMW's because I don't like big cars and they all feel really big (yes I have diven the 3 series and it still feels way to big). Plus the assholes that drive them try to cut me off on a daily basis :) Atleast until they realize that I would rather wreck my car then let them in and then they have to slam on there brakes and almost wipe out to fall back :) Those moments are priceless for me :)

we've had two 7's ,one 5 and one 3 series, they all drove excellent. The 545i we had was the best since it was not too big or too small. just the gas pedal, and clutch loved my feet, hehe.BTW i am not an asshole, haha.

Ofcourse your not an asshole :) Your drive a Corolla now like the rest of us ;) But mark my words when you get back behind the wheel of the BMW your going to turn into a fuck tard "DONT DO IT!" :) Anyways I'm keeping my Corolla until the end of time for the simple reason I have done to much to it. I went to a dealership once and asked them what they would give me for trade in and they were like "Does it have a stereo?" I was like "No it has a computer" they were like "Does it have A/C" I was like "Yeah but two of the vents have been fabricated over to make room for a custom touch screen. And they are like "Does it have anything stock?" and I'm like "No :)" and they can't figure out what it is worth to them. So I would have to sell to a private party and I don't want to do that. So instead I'm going to take over my wifes Tacoma when she gets her Lexus RX300 later this year and then pull the Corolla into the garage for some crazy shit that I couldn't do before because I was afraid of the down time. I want to try and do something really crazy to it :) Don't know what that will be yet but CRAZY!

Nah, when a Ferarri, Dodge Viper or any other actual "Sports Car" jumps in front of me I still show respect. The BMW's don't fit in that category. And if that makes me a hater then damn it. I'm a hater. I'm gonna go to the player haters ball now ;)

How many M3s or M5s do you see though? :p Most BMWs are the plain version... I have no idea what my point is...

I dont consider them sports car, they are sporty cars, but too luxurious and heavy to be considered a true sports car imo...

okay imo you have to drive one for a while to understand why they drive the way they do. they haul ass, are not heavy as some make it seem and can be considered an exotic in some categories. its very rare when you see a plain jane bmw down here in the area where i live there are quite a bit of m'models and others.

I Agree with you man. you gotta drive one to understand em. My firts car was an 85 533 and it was a beast. the only mod was the removal of the airbox and a cone filter in front of the MAS, and i won a couple of runs with it. Il never forget the sound that bimmer made it was a beast. It didint look so good but it earned its respect when i lined up. Then some dumbass took a red light n smached into me in the front driver's side almost took my knee out and left me in crutches for 8 months after surgery and that was the end of the bimmer.
