    That would be slick if you could scan some in and post. I scanned all of our family's old documents, just so we can reference them without disturbing the artifact. My great grandfather's "Workbook" is old and very fragile so it's not so smart to turn pages in it every time to look at it. Now we don't have to worry about destroying the documents when we want to see them.

    My first relative came over because he defected from the French army :D Oh yah, great famil heritage to live up too...

    I don't have any old pictures or documents, most of them we're destroyed when my grand-parents house was burned down :(

    that's actually a really good idea, but it's with my parents in Texas. Maybe when I go to visit them I'll swipe it and bring it back and do that.

    i also have my great grandmother's certificate from when she graduated high school I believe....it may be middle school, I haven't looked in a while, but I know that's a turn of the century document.

    I love antiques and history and stuff like that.

    ha, i was born and raised in the philippines until i was 3 then our family moved over here to the states for the first time all at once. We didnt even have a TV until we came here let alone any older family pics...
