So who else misses their NES, SNES, etc.? I'll be buying in a few weeks if I can find one that works and is in good condition (an NES and an SNES). I miss them so much, especially the SNES (Zelda!).

Over the years i've had an NES, SNES, N64, GAMECUBE, GAMEBOY, GAMEBOY COLOUR, GAMEBOY ADVANCED, NINTENDO DS, PLAYSTATION, X-BOX... I never touched Sega for some reason, although I always wanted a Sega Game Gear (well, wanted when I was young).

I have a NES at home. You really have to shove the games in it for it to work, but otherwise its awesome.

    Gotta love River City Ransom

The nice with the old systems is there wasn't much graphisc to play with so they had to make the games interesting, challenging and long to keep people interested... too bad it's not like that today :( Just talked to my mom and she thinks my old SNES is in storage at her place somewhere, she's going to check tonight and let me know :D

I've got SEGA Genesis, SEGA Master System, SEGA game gear, SNES, PSone, and PS2. I've had offers to buy the Master System but I just can't part with it... I love those old games.

Oh, I used to have Game Boy but I've got the Cartridge adapter to play the GB games on SNES and in "color" :)

This is why I'm interested in the new system that nintendo is going to be coming out with next year. The Nintendo system, tentatively named "Revolution," is supposedly backwards compatible with all Nintendo systems.

Nintendo plans to offer downloadable games through a subscription service that allows the player to download games from the original NES all the way to the N64. There will be a built in disk drive for GC games. I don't remember seeing a controller, however, the system itself is suppose to be really small... if memory serves me right, I believe that they were saying that its suppose to be about the size of 2 dvd cases stacked on top of eachother.

**Note- All the information is hearsay and may not be accurate. This is just what I heard from my friends and thought that I'd share with all of you.

I read something similar to everything you said in a gaming magazine (don't remember which, it was my brothers)... so there must be some truth to it...

    Yeah, Ninja Turtles was awesome!

That is crazy. With todays technology they could build a Sega Genesis, NES, Playstation Original, Dreamcast, Neogeo all in the size of the cartridge that thing takes ;)
