I bet even the government won't sift through all the troll posts to find cBass incriminating himself in this thread.

What progams will allow me to control lift on the 2zzge at 5600 rpm, to red line ? Is that even possible with the 2zzge ? What will happens to the engine when you do set the lift that low ?

    Yes it is possible.

You can do it with all of the standalones that support the 2ZZ, and maybe even a few piggybacks, like EMU (don't quote me on this one).

You set the crossover point to where the torque curves intersect. That way you don't feel a power increase at the crossover, but you get more area under the curve which equates to a larger, broader, and flatter powerband.

If you think about the stock tuning, they set the crossover after this interserction in terms of RPM. So, when lift kicks in, your car suddenly has 40-45 more pounds of torque. If the crossover were set earlier, you would feel less of a drastic increase, but you would have better power from idle to redline. However, that "kick in the ass feeling" is a marketing gimmick and sells cars, so that's how they tune it.

How long will an Izzfe last if I were to get to 200-220hp with the trd supercharger and other mods ?

I know its not a supercharged app, but v3 bahamut on newcelica.org has been making 230-240whp on a stock 1zz for a while. Like 5-6 years to my knowledge. So I would say a long time with good safe tune.

whoa, :wideyed: then a 200hp supercharger should be nothing on an 1zzfe. by any chance do you think to the 2grfe v6 will fit in our 8th gen corolla ? I heard that a 3.0L can be the same as a 3.5L . Will it fit better in the 9th gen models ?

Is it possible to create legroom space in an 8th corolla ? Going full custom with back seats of front seats ?

I dont mean to be that guy but you are creating threads like crazy man, have one thread for yourself and ask as many questions as you want inside of it, pretty sure any of us will see them...

Anyways you want extra leg room? get some different seats, i have 7th gen celica seats and i made the brackets locations all the way up front so you can push the seat farther back and if your tall you can also lower the seat itself by 3-4 inches...of course once your seat is all the way back your back seat becomes useless to the average person sitting in the back.

9th gen has more room in the engine bay.

I'll find you some when I get home and have laptop use. I don't have time at work on the line. But I have seen in person a local aw11 with a 1mz. It has a smaller engine bay than ours and the intake manifold barely touched the rear firewall.
