I'm not getting rescued because I'm black, I'm not getting the government support because I'm black, I'm not winning the lottery because I'm black. I can't get a job because I'm black. Cry me a river. If you honestly beleive that then you have already given up and became a slave to your own stereotypes. This race card shit is getting way tired. Any time a large group of black people does not get what they want they pull the race card. The mark guy is an idiot but so was the other guy. Race has nothing to do with what is going on right now. And as for the looting and shit, it would happen anyways! If the same disaster happened to Oregon or Washington people would be looting just the same. I think its absolutly retarded that all the focus now is on the race of the majority of the people, there are white people there too? WTF, why don't we hear about them or see a single white person in the video clips they show during that debate? Because that would not enforce the media's decision to take sides. Its all bullshit. Anyways thanks for posting the video I am personally glad I watched it because it definatly helped shift my views on this whole thing.

As an American, I don't understand the society we have here. IMO, I can see both sides of the story. There were some good points on both arguments. I too am tired of the race card being played. It's played out. To me, ok, whenever we (African Americans) make an advancement in society, it's 1 step forward towards more equality. However, the minute someone says something or does something that doesn't prove ideal for someone, and they holla RACE this and RACE that, it makes us take 10 steps back (like a kick in the gutt to say your still not as good as a white person). I don't believe that we can ever become equal if someone (who 9 times out of 10 is just feeding off the system) is always screaming out "it's because I'm black". To reach a point of equality, it takes the idea of everyone seeing people for WHO they are as an individual, and not as their color. But that will never be achieved, because there is someone out there always willing to say "it's because I'm black" or "I don't feel comfortable because those are black people". This to me was more along the lines of CLASS discrimination. These people (black and white) are very poor. To poor infact that they were not able to escape the city and were stuck behind to wade in the filth. They should have gotten to those people a whole helluva lot faster than they did. As an African American, it makes me feel degraded when someone screams out foul play on the count of race. I don't feed off the system. I have a college degree, and I work for a Security Software company. But when someone screams out race as their first assumption, I feel as though I'm no better than those system feeders. I'm not black, white, asian, hispanic, etc...I'm an AMERICAN. Now racisim still exist, don't get me wrong, but I overcome it by being a productive citizen, and viewing myself not as a Black man, but as an American, and other people as Americans.

Haha... I like how they play a ludicris song in the background.

As soon as he says "and people who have been so trained in being passive." Thats when I could tell things would spiral.

The media seems to be harping on this whole racism thing and drawing it out as much as they can.
