i hate to say it, but stereotypes are true, because they are based off of personal experiences and observances from people. the more often it happens, the more affirmed it becomes a stereotype.

mtv isn't helping at all by making suckerfree sunday. watch the commercials sometimes and you will see how stereotypical they are.

You know, you should really reorganize your thought process if you think that Blacks love the thug image because MTV portrays it as such. I didn't have to deal with any of this stereotyping nonsense when I was out of country, and it really can bring you down to experience it continually. Black people get fucking tired of dealing with racism, thats why we look for it, thats why we're paranoid. Do you want me to give all my personal experiences of perceived racism? No? I'm sure if I did you'd counter me with times you've been oppressed by black people, but look, I don't stereotype all white people, I dont say all white people dress a certain way, or they all act a certain way, or must or else theyre fake. What the Fuck! I just feel neither side should do it to the other, but I see so much ignorance on Both sides it makes me want to leave this country. Especially on the internet, I see the most one sided, close minded answers that only further polarize and upset people on each side of the argument. Everything is not black and white, there is much gray, but it takes insight and wisdom to realize that, and many people do not seem inclined to even look.
