    Battery Power Problem? Maybe?

here is my problem. I just installed an indash tv DVD player. Jensen VM9410. and when the LCD is off my radio works great just like it used too, but when I turn the LCD monitor on I dont get signal on half of my stations only the really strong ones. It seems to me like the extra power the LCD takes is taking power away from the antenna. Has anybody heard of this or does anybody know how to fix this?

    Edit: sorry its a 2003 corolla S.

I know this sounds dumb but.. did you check to make sure the antenna cable is hooked? You're probably experiencing EM interference from the screen..

not really sure how to fix it. the screen should have magnetic doughnuts inside it to absorb EM but maybe they designed it weird.

    Two things to look at:

EM interference and grounding. I'd look at both. Good luck! :)
