    Anyone got a build thread or link for this? Looking for any hints or tips on getting the new stuff on. I'm assuming it all bolts on the same. Wondering how you all got your fog lights hooked up. Thanks.

    It's pretty straightforward. You'll need the bumper & accessories and lights. The fog lights will wire up like any universal kit (new wires and a switch). The head lights are slightly complicated because you have to rewire them for two bulbs. Not hard though.

    So, the bumper bolt holes are the same? Headlights mounts are the same? I'll probabaly take a look at a 8.5Gen and see how their lights are wired and cut the harness off at the junk yard if I can find one not too boogered up and pig tail it.

    Yeah it's all the same. But the head light wiring is different. Not only are there two bulbs, but the lows don't turn off when the highs come on.

    everyone pigy tails them, so both your light will be on even with low beams. that way you can blind ppl lol....

    and if you need 01-02 headlights i have a used set but without corner lights....

    98-00 corners are not the same, you need the 01-02 corners to use the 01-02 headlights.....the fenders are the same BUT the little ball that is on the 98-00 fenders that keeps the bumper from sitting up is placed lower. Not a big deal unless you are picky about it

    OH I'm sorry, for some reason I thought he was talking about lighting up the corners. yeah you need the newer corner lights, but they will be a direct swap with no wiring needed.

    The corner lights themselves are different, but the bulbs and wiring do not need to be touched. It is 100% swap in. And gold you have it backwards. The way the 8.0 lights are designed, if you wire in the high beams into the harness, the lows will turn off when the highs are turned on. You can't have them both on at the same time without switching out the entire harness for an 8.5 one, or doing what I did, wiring them independently to a separate switch. Ask CorollaGT, you can't easily run your high beams and lows at the same time.

    Oh I know how much trouble it is ... these cars are a pain with the high beam lol. The 7th gen has the same problem when people try to change to the single-bulb JDM head lights.

    Oh wait, this isent another gay troll thread. I actually did this.

    Its so simple you dont even need a write up... its all bolt on. But there are some essential parts you need so the bumper doesnt have any weird gaps or fitment issues.

    I'd like to wire the lights in to work as they do now, or is it too complicated.. Where is the harness located that I would need to pull from an 8.5?

    You can pull it from any car that has 9006/9005. Just go to a junkyard and find any car that has that. Theres only 3 wires on them, a power, ground, and high beam. Not that difficult.

    The harder part is wiring it into the harness to make the headlight stalk work correctly. I still haven't figured that out.

    Read the sentence right before that lol. I want the high beams to come on with the low beams staying on, but using the oem switch for both.

    Because I had just put the damn interior back together from wire tucking the fog light stuff, and I already had a switch installed on the dash that wasn't being used.
