    rear disk swap

As the title says, I am looking at putting a rear disk conversion on my 99 rolla, and was wondering if there are any suggestions that can be offered when switching out the proportioning valve. I know it isn’t hard to actually change it out, but changing it then successfully getting all the air out of the system, is what I am not sure about. Anything you guys have to offer would be great.

Thanks for the plug guys. You could use a rear proportioning valve from a Celica GT but there are plenty of people running on the stock one with no major issues.

I grabbed a propotioning valve off a 5th gen Celica in the junkyard. I clipped off the tubes with tin snips and unbolted it easy. When I installed my rear disc, I bled my entire brake system. I kept a bottle of water handy to wash any brake fluid that spilled when removing the stock propotioning valve. It takes a little patience because there's not enough room to give your wrench a decent sized turn.

Dr. Tweak - do you have any kits available now? The drums are shot on my 95 and it might be easier to do the swap now. Any input?
