hey guys well around 2am my car went over 2 curbs b4 it stopped!!!.... my left wheel was facing in an awkward direction while my car was facing another direction......I quickly pushed the car of the road with my friends 4runner and left it at a walmart............looks like i broke the axle and well I hear the transmission grinding....i'm guessing that its trying to reach for a axle or something....but no fluids were leaked....so I'm hoping there's nothing wrong with my transmission......DAMn

why did you get on the curbs in the first place? tipsy?

well i had left the party and then my homeboys called me something about a tahoe filled with guys trying to start shit at my homeboys crib......so i busted a you turn and was going about 100mph......then i see the island b4 the turn but my left front tire hit the curb then it flew on to the next curb.......and yeah i was tipsy!!!!!! damn this is gonna slow my turbo setup down....well maybe not.....Looks like the axle broke off from the transmission attachment, cuz you can hear the transmission grind...but no fluids were spilt.....and axles are only $100 plus my homeboy owns the shop were i'm getting the work done.......well since the car is gonna be sittin I'm gonna put my torque converter in at the same time....... oh yeah the cops came right after i had got done pushing the car into a walmart parking lot......they asked questions.....but we were like we tried to dodge a swirving vehicle....and they left me alone.....oh well....I'll try to take pics later today

man that really blows. well at t least you are okay and did not wind up in the hospital or jail for that matter. i told the popo's a similar thing when i crashed my 98 the first time and landed in a ditch in reverse and i just pulled out my car and drove off! Ahhh i love toyota they still run after being subjected to severe abuse.I miss my car though. But i was not drinking i was just being a showoff to my cousin and i fu_ked up. good thing there were no cars around when it happened.

If you think I'm too harsh then just think about all those signs and crosses you see on the side of the road with a picture of a loved one killed by a drunk driver. Its not fair to be out driving on the road loaded up on alcohol. If you want to drink give up the keys. I would have said the same thing since i have seen this happen to three friends who i have already lost with in the past four years.they were killed by drunk drivers.Which is why i am strongly against drinking and driving.My friends(know to call me) know this and i even have them call me up at 2 to 4 in the morning and i go pick them up and drop them off at thier houses and i keep the keys until the evening or the next day depending on how much they have had to drink.i hateit but i'd rather do this than have them or someone else wind up on the obituaries or in jail.
