mine is worn all the time as well as passengers if not i have them get off the car, literally. On two occasions i have left them walking for having bitch fits.sure enough on of thse two people got a ticket and was arressted , it was not the first time my friend did not wear his seatbelt. turns out he had warrants for it. I knew about them but never said anything, i thought he took care of them,it obvious he didn't.

i do, as do my passengers.

a - if i get pulled over, it's probably for speed slightly above what it should be. this is why i haven't been pulled over and ticketed in over 2 years ;)
b - i won't get pulled over and fined for someone else's mistake.

So you were driving without your seatbelt on.....

Warrants for not wearing his seatbelt? You mean he had tickets for not wearing them, never paid them, and had a bench warrant?

I wear my seat belt about 90% of the time.... unless I am at work... then if I am just moving a car from point a to point B on my lot then no but If I leave the property of my lot then yeah I have to... their insurance won't cover my bills if I'm not wearing it... that and I'll get fired for not... and the new jeeps and chrystlers make anoying put your seatbelts on if you or your passengers are not...

I wear mine %100 of the time, and if my passengers are under 16 (like my little brother), they wear it all the time too, if the passengers are over 16, i'll ask them to put it on, but here, the law states that if you are over 16, it's your choice and not the drivers responsibility for you to wear your seatbelt, so if I get stopped because a apssenger over 16 does not have his seatbelt, it's not my problem...

you're somewhat fortunate. here you will be pulled over and fined for anyone improperly seated in your vehicle if you are the driver.

Always...force of habit. Feels like I'm gonna go thru the windshield if I dont have it on. Even when I pull my car out the driveway to park it on the street, I have em on. The only time I'm on a vehicle and not wearing a seatbelt is when I'm on my bike. Even then when I first started, I was looking for something to strap me down...lol.

I'll be the guy that gets sh*t for it, but I put mine on when it's raining, snowing or excessively windy. For normal days, I typically won't.

in my old mustang I wore it 10% of the time cause I figured if I crashed it I'd rather be dead than face the parents.

in the rolla though I use a belt 100% of the time cause I paid for it and I luv my car :)

100% of the time but like if i get in the car and don't move it or just move it from the garage or something i won't wear it. but that doesn't count, right? :D

they say most car accidents happen near the home, right? so it makes sense to wear your seat belt for short trips, and not for long ones! hah!

...no real logic exists. Might be subconscious because my dad doesn't wear his...dunno, I just don't, never have. You would think after totalling my mom's Rodeo I would. I had it on that day. I have no defense of myself, it's just something I don't do typically.

I'd say that's an excellent assessment.
It may not be smart, but at least I'm honest that I'm a jackass for not doing it.

Back in '03 I got in a serious accident...something made me wear it that day, combine that with the fact the '98 Isuzu Rodeo is a brickhouse and I walked away from a $20,000 accident with a bloody nose, a minor concussion and some bruised shins. So you would think I'd wear it all the time.

99.98% of the time. When I'm in a parking lot pulling out, or pulling up sometimes I'll take it off early. I don't even think about wearing it, it's automatic.
