OMG im in love with Koni now. i just found out their north american service center is 95 miles from my apartment and found this little tidbit on their site:

    KONI wet kit conversion

KONI can fabricate anything you may need. We can take your existing strut housings and install our internals; we refer to this as a wet kit. We can make a wet kit single adjustable or double adjustable depending on your budget. We can convert the strut body to utilise a coil-over sleeve or we can modify the housing to meet specific needs. KONI can also fabricate shocks or strut inserts. Let us know your needs and we can give you a cost.

When my Ksports blow, maybe I'll retrofit them with Koni dampers!

That would actually be a great idea. The hardware with ksports is pretty good, just the dampers are the real issue. Their dampening is all uber the place. Not very well matched to each other shock, much less to the spring rates. But if you know the spring rates, Koni can rebuiild and revalve the dampers to have matching adjustment ranges and matched to the spring rates. Most of the tine Koni will valve the shock to run a bit stiffer spring than you are using, so if you ever decide you need a higher spring rate you dont have to ship the shocks off again to have them re done again.. kind nice if you ask me.

Excellent background info, thanks man. I've been loving the Ksports so far, they are a night and day difference from both the (shitty) Tokico Blues and the (shittier) KYB GR-2s.

I need to upgrade my moms accord to Tokicos, she just had kybs put on a few months ago, and the rears had to be replaced a week after installation, something was wrong with them. Now the front passenger one has blown out already. Lame.

2001 LX Sedan. Can you hit up some Accord threads for the 98-02 gen and see what performance struts are best? She drives it rough kinda. Doesn't slow for dips or speedbumps of anything.

It could be your sway bar bushings. Those squeak on speed bumps if they are dried and cracked.
