anyone know if this is able to fit the 99 1zzfe? From what I here only difference is my throttle body is smaller since i still havnt swapped to the plactic manifold and tb and the maf sensor has to be welded closed. Ive seen some people have tried it on toyotanation but never posted the results. Thanks I appreciate it

I'm pretty sure it would fit, even if it didnt it would be off only by a little and i'm sure you could jerry rig it to fit.

You have to widen that hole for anything to fit anyway. Giggity.

I was thinking of just sawing off the maf sensor since my engine doesnt have one and stick a bypass valve as a precaution. What do you guys think i know its going be hard to get water into my motor to hydrolock but better safe than sorry

I drove my car underwater once with my CAI, and the engine died because water shot up into the electrics/ignition. No water got in the intake, even though it was underwater.

I almost stalled my engine a couple times from a lot of rain, I'd recommend a bypass
