    another fiberglass Q

im planing on fiberglassing some projector fogs into my bumper. i wanted to use some sort of foam to carve into the shape i need, then put the fiberglass right ontop of the foam. what i was wondering is if the resin will disolve the foam?

resin will melt through the foam, i tried this and didnt work. i would cover up the foam will foil and glass it from there.

and check out this dudes fiberglass site. very useful.

depends on what type you are using, some are stronger than others in the sense that the chemical bond they have is hotter and at times can cure quicker depending on weather conditions. for instance at macco the bumper they worked on some used different types of resin and curement process for some were harier and some were light weight. if i can reach my friend who still works there i can ask him about it and let you all know.
