Yeah Firefox is tight. I've been using it for a year now. Some pages don't load well and I using explorer for that, but 98% of my surfing goes through firefox.

maxthon still allows spyware through if you don't know how to block it out. Mozilla doesn't let spyware through. take your pick on that.

please, just use firefox. tabbed browsing, popup blocker, and auto plugin downloads are just a few of many great things it has to offer

if u're recieving pop ups when u're not surfing the web or playing games that fill up the whole screen a pop up blocker may not alleviate u're problem. U have some sort of malicious software on u're computer. U need to download and run Lavasoft Ad-Aware, Webroot Spysweeper or something similar to fix u're problem. Now if u're surfing the web and that specific site it producing a pop-up from that site a pop-blocker such as the google toolbar will help u. I don't even use a popup-blockers because I constantly use the above mentioned programs to eliminate any malicious software and rarely get any pop-ups.

I also use firefox...but need IE sometimes because firefox doesn't always show some of the sites that I visit correctly.

firefox with the user agent switcher and adblock plug-ins

user agent switcher makes the web page think i'm using IE... no more "you must view this page with internet explorer 5.xx or higher" for me!
