    Estimate your 1/4 mile

Just enter in your vehicle's weight and horsepower and you'll get a rough estimate....

2529lbs with 142hp... I don't think my Integra is that fast though, i'd believe 15.6~15.8...

its kind of a cool program, but it doesn't take into effect the transmission, like the 3 speed automatic in the 93-97 corolla with 105 is alot slower than a 91 civic si with 108hp and a 5 speed... (almost identical weight maybe 75lbs difference)

It seems off to me, I've seen timeslips for stock tundra's that have run the 1/4 mile, and they all consistantly run about a 16.5, the site said a 15.3..
...also, with gas, at 410 lbs, with 92 hp, my bike will supposedly run a 9.5.
The R1 is only pulling mid 10's, so I know my 600 won't touch that.

15.3, Hell no it only ran 15.2 when the tranny was good, but now that its screwed up it hits a 16.6 at 89 MPH.
but who knows the Accord is going to get a new tranny as i was told by the dealer earlier this morning.

here are the stats on the Rolla
3250 w/o rims 210 FWHP 14.5 i highly doubt it would hit that even with the 125 shot of NOS i had but then again i think it did
    3370 w/rims 210 FWHP 14.69
    3250 @ 187 hp 15.0
3370 @ 187 hp 15.2 and that is very close as to what i hit which was a 15.3 with my rims
but now these numbers do me no good as the car no longer works.

Look at the Java Source - simple program that uses a fixed constant for fast calculation - should be off.

    Try this calculator:

    http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/calc_estimatehp.htm

You input weight, what you expect for 1/4 ET and and trap MPH - it will calculate HP using two different methods. Actually pretty close.

horsepower at the crank or at the wheels? because my tc is rated for 160 at the crank, but really only gets about 140 at the wheels, i have a manual tranny too.

    The one at this site:

    http://www.nightrider.com/biketech/calc_estimatehp.htm

Mentioned that this was for WHP calculation.

I ran some numbers for the Fensport Corolla (just because they post so many numbers:(

    2004 - 2822lbs, 535HP on pump gas, 600HP on race gas
Assuming 15% loss (probably more) with 4WD and manual tranny >> 455 - 510 WHP

    10.97 @ 131.61 mph >> 422.5/502.1 WHP
    11.06 @ 128.84 mph >> 412.3/471 WHP
    11.3 @ 126 mph >> 386.6/440.6 WHP

    2005 - 2822lbs, 650HP on race gas
Assuming 15% loss (probably more) with 4WD and manual tranny >> 552 WHP

    10.47 @ 142 mph >> 486 / 630.6 WHP
    10.66 @ 136.79 mph >> 460.4 / 566.3 WHP
    10.81 @ 134 mph >>441.5 / 529.9 WHP

Lingenfelter Corvette (Twin-turbo) - dyno'd at 625 WHP (Magazine article)
    10.1 @ 136.1 mph >> 613.9 / 625.5 WHP

That thing is wwaaayyyyyy off. Stock XRS runs 14.58757082650081. LMAO

But if you put whp, it will be closer. Still off tho, still a little faster than it supposed to be.
