    hehe, yeah, I thought that really added a nice touch.

    There's places like this EVERYWHERE up here.
    Of course there are nicer neighborhoods and homes, but there is a hell of alot of stuff like that.

    Alot of properties will look like a junkyard with a house; a mis-shapen acclectic mix of junk with windows, doors and decrepid wood siding.

    Back in the day, oh about 50 years ago people would stock pile anything that was broken or used so if something broke or they needed a spare they had the parts in their yard. This is because shipping was so high in cost back then, and appliances and vehicles were expensive or hard to come by. Unfourtunatly, people are still in the funk. Times are a changin'

    Alaska is "The Last Frontier". The way of life up here facilitates people on the run, people wanting to hide out, drop out of society, or that just want to be a skanky-drug-using-drinking-unkempt-mediocre low life that relies on construction work and manual labor.
