    What the hell to do???

    Ok, here's the thing. I'm going sailing to Martha's Vineyard for a week starting this Saturday with my girlfriend and her family. She told me today to bring something to do so I don't get really bored just sitting on the deck all day. She said to bring a book, but I don't really like reading that much at all. She's going to be making friendship bracelets or some crap to keep herself occupied. So besides sleeping and cooking in the sun, what else could I do? Any and all recommendations will be considered, no matter how rediculous. Thanks guys

    1) bring laptop.. visit vvt-i.net
    2) clean your engine bay.. could polish up the hoses and such nicely.
    3) fill a big cardboard box with shipping peanuts and go at it with the corolla (been done, but still funny) and record it for us to watch. :D

    All really great ideas...but none of them can be done on the boat. I'm not too keen on bringing my laptop either...computers don't like the ocean. But good ideas though....love the box with shipping peanuts one

    4) Own a Portable Gaming System?
    5) Go buy the new Road and Track, Car and Driver, Import Tuner, Modified Mag, and Super Street. That should kill a little time.
    6) Long cruises are good times to learn card tricks. :) Go get a book and see how good you can get at them.
    7) Bring a skateboard and reak havoc all of the ship. :)
    8) Do you doodle or draw? Maybe a little drawing pad or something.
    9) Oragami!!!
    10) Bring your CDs and a CD Player or MP3 Player and just enjoy the scenery.

    Beer is a check already...actually, Saturday is my birthday so her parents bought me a ton of beer along with a whole bunch of liquor for the week. The magazines sound like a good idea, I will most definitely be doing that. Haha...oragami... Great ideas so far....thanks everyone

    Yeah, no cruise...its my gf's family's boat. Alright, so basically...bring magazines...music...I'll steal my sister's DVD player...a book maybe....that should cover me pretty good while I'm not sleeping/drinking/helping sail the boat. Thanks everyone
