    i just saw that on ABC's site a few minutes ago.

    he's probably one of the best TV news anchors the country's ever had. :(

    i don't remember that part but, ok, i watched him pretty often he was a good anchorman who left a legacy behind. I just read abou this a few minutes ago on the AOL site.

    He announced he hasd lung cancer in April, on his last newscast. What he DIDNT tell everyone was that it was terminal, and only had a few months to live. Its tragic.

    This shows that you have to live for today, and cherish everything and everyone in your life. Last week, a close friend of mine collapsed as he was Technical Directing, right in the control room. He died right there, and he was only 42! Its very tragic.
