And if you don't like what the resonator does, for 40 bucks at autozone you can piece it together with Sceptre pieces. Hummer and I have both done that.cbass the arrows on "my" drawing are so fucked up its like you've never even looked at the intake on a corolla.

Cbass, you do realize that the engine sucks air, not waits for it to get blown in.

But that's also why yours gets so dirty. If you did it like Mack, you'd probably have way less dirt and bugs.

But I would also recommend just removing it, especially when you're a noob and just starting out. Like I said, don't screw things up with cutting... just remove the box for the same effect and it's 100% reversable!

There's usually no point in replacing the intake... te Toyota engineers probably know what they are doing. Changing the intake is usually only for sound and pep... but all the people who put on a SRI that has no airflow and sucks only hot air, SMH.

LOL it was just a quick sketch up...not fucken accurate

I Know gold, thats why i have 1 arrow going up on "macks" drawing...when the throttle opens air goes in

It gets dirty cuz i drive alot through the county, HELLO! the altima pass to the bay area is bug infested, thats why i clean it when i fill up, plus it only takes a minute...keeps me busy rather than just standing there waiting for my tank to fill up.

Oh how I.live waking up to this and reading the forums right before school. And thanks for all the effort cbass. I'm still just so new to everything I don't want to cut something then regret it. But eventually maybe, haha. For now I'll.remove the resonator air box. So for that I have to.take put the front bumper right?

nice S interior! trade with me for my boring LE one.

we should use the resonator pics cbass drew in our sigs depending on which setup we have hehehe

and yeah if you remove the bumper the resonator box is gonna come out much easier i think. that thing is quite big

You can take it out by only removing the front of the fender liner too on the drivers side. Players choice.

EXACTLY...but its a simple fix, you need basic soldering skills

i used t5 led, you have to remove the old LED from the HVAC and solder the new one in place with a resisistor.

The hardest one was the AC button, had to do it like 3 times before i got it right. its a tight squeeze
