    Hey my name is Dan and I own an 01 Corolla LE. It's basically all stocks all I really have is some JDM black crystal headlights, and I would like some ideas on what things would make my car look better. Thank you :)

    Sound systems are the biggest waste of money in car modding, IMO. Just adding unnecessary weight.

    I meant some kind of way of playing MP3s... and replacing old ratty speakers, just enough for a clean, personal sound. Obviously, as that's all I've ever had in mine (and light-weight sub)

    I disagree. There is such an epic black hole of bass with the stock stereo you have to do at least something.... even if it's a single 6" sub.

    I just went with OEM speakers and im satisfied with them, i dont need an overly obnoxious rattling bassy car. I might upgrade to the premium sound ones later down the road though.

    ^^^ exactly... I smh when I can hear bass a mile away ... or the people who blast their stock stereo so loud it's all crackled and distorted... and you know they are either deaf or in pain LOL.

    That's why I like my "sub"... it's got 2 6" (or 6.5") speakers in it, so it gives me bass without being loud outside the car.
