Iceland

I considered living there..... of course I had to come back, but after being so used to living here, I'm not sure I'd really be able to move to such a quiet place.

And yes Mack, the girls looked nice.

I don't look the same in every picture! And I've never gotten Waldo before, and I'm not sure I see the resemblance lol.

I think Roach wanted pics of me in Iceland..... but don't worry forum, of all 7000 pics, those are the only ones of me.

I wanted scenery pics, but my brother wanted people pics, I don't enjoy posing for cameras, it's so fake.

I plan to put up lots Just gotta find the good pics.

That's the thing.... all of Iceland is like that. None of it is flat, and it is all barren and open, so you can go wherever you want and always see a looooooong way. Problem is, it's hard to capture how high you are or how far away things are, so it's neat to have a little perspective (like in that pic).

Iceland wasn't too cold.... it was around 10C during the day, sometimes up to 15. The average low is 0C, so it's not even that cold there (unless you are in the mountains of course). But even so, it was quite pleasant all around, but it would get cold and windy at night. Iceland doesn't have A/C, as you can imagine.

It's not wool, just regular cotton to keep the wind off my ears. It wasn't to cold for shoes, but we did a LOT of driving (obviously) so it was more comfortable to wear flip flops unless we'd be doing a lot of hiking. Although I did hike up a mountain in flip flops.

It was definitely a huge break from the fast busy impersonal pace around here, but it wasn't out of my comfort zone at all. If you can afford it and have time off work, go for it!

That's sort of what I was thinking haha. Huge chin FTW. Although I could definitely stand to loose 20lbs... my face was a bit thinner when I was 150 lol.

Oh, I see.... strange observation, but I never really thought of it like that. I suppose I do stand "straight", but I always thought it was weird. Because my back goes in at my stomach, and then my shoulders are back. So my back has a curve to it, and it makes my chest/stomach poke out, rather than being all inline with my head/legs. It's annoying, cause I look a lot fatter than I am lol.
