    And the color is Intensa Blue Pearl. The IIP was only used in 2001.

    Oh, that muffler. I definitely prefer that style, but I wasn't able to get the one I wanted because it was discontinued. I got my exhaust off some guy locally. But it's only an axleback, I'd love to go louder with it (catback).

    Yes, it's flat black because it's so hideous. And the fins are for bolting the diffuser to, but I don't have the diffuser. So functionality is questionable.

    Yes, it is the key word. "Was already" as in I "was already" considering those wheels before either of you mentioned them. And I am still considering them. I thought about them today in fact.

    As for me, I moved to Canada over a year ago. Well you know what I felt like after the accident with mine, had it all straightened out but it was never the same so I just drove it for the sake of driving it till I find something else. Well things are a lot more stricter up here as far as things to do to get it registered and had people quote me over a $1000 worth of work to give it a safety certificate and I just laughed. I sold the car for like $300 and my coilovers for another $300 so it wasnt that bad. Well we have one car now and since the wife cant drive a manual had to settle for an auto. I bought a beater 97 mazda protege for the time being. Got a hell of a deal to pass so jumper on it. Other than that, had a son a few months ago so I am now a daddy lol.
    So maybe down the road, well see what I wanna get into. Really am after an SRT4 but wont be happening for at least a year or so till I have some monies saved up. But your IS is sick. I have a friend with one, he actually got a hold of a set of LFA wheels and he has em on his. His is turbod and all that good stuff.

    You know that's photoshopped, right? (the rear and side lips).

    OK, it's a manual! well not really, it's got the paddle shifters.

    I considered putting a set of those LFA wheels on, but I thought they'd look too big and a bit weird (not my style, I like lips lol).

    Thanks for the compliments! :) I had always liked your Prizm, especially after you dropped it on those wheels. I didn't know you got it fixed up though, and then all the other stuff life put your way! You've been through a lot, and it sounds like things are going well enough. I'm glad to see you back on the forums though, just like good ole days!

    You know you can spice up that Protege, right? Well I guess not if you're saving up for the SRT4 lol (which is a sick car). I've always wanted the IS300, so I'm living my dream now more or less. You'll get there soon, a year isn't too far away! And perhaps the prices will come down some by then.

    As for the prizm, I thought you knew! Yea I had the frame straightened out and all but of course the gaps were there and I just lost interest in it after that. it served me well for 5 years and a 100k miles or so. Had some nice kills in it while averaging 30 mpg lol. Went to the drag strip with it, had it dynod. autocrossed in it so def had my share of fun. Bought it for $1900 with 84K miles on it was too good of a deal to pass up. I still wanna have one in the future with the 4ag(z)e setup with velocity stacks hitting the 7k rev limiter for a DD lol. Maybe one day... For my next car I want something fast stock and most likely, the SRT4 I get will remain mostly stock, other than suspension. You can get em under 8k now which is still nice considering bang for the buck. Yea I came back after a while to see whats happening and then I ran into your threads and thought id say wassup lol. BTW turn that photoshop into the real deal after you get all your rear end repairs done

    His car is clean but his rear lip is too low and dosent flow with the side skirts, side skirts also are kinda ugly. Other than that its sweet. Wish gold could pull off something so clean.

    Thanks man, we have something in common then if your a fan of simplicity. I told these guys all I wanted to do was add OEM equipment like the lip, rims and slamming it and they flipped a tit because I dont have mad tyte jdm rims.

    lol the only thing Id do is maybe raise the car a tad bit, enough that its just tucking tire, other than that, id rock that accord. I guess depends on how much you drive and kinda places you go. When I had my prizm, it was tucking tire but I had enough clearance wherever I went. Last thing you wanna worry about is your flex pipes, exhaust, bumpers rippin off. Post more pics of yo whip

    Yeah this is as low as I plan on going, its hard enough getting into driveways and stuff but the ride is pretty comfortable considering its set to the stiffest settings. I already bottom out on speed bumps, those are the worst. I like it though, its a manual tranny so its fun.

    I've seen that car! I agree that I can't stand that lip/body kit, but it's "JDM" so everyone gets it. I'd say mine is a lot cleaner than that, not a fan of the head lights or wheels, either.

    Ready to bend over? Car looks good overall. An IS is hard to mess up, but I know it can happen. I would leave the diffuser in the rear bumper, but if it's not your choice then you do what you want. Are you painting the parts yourself or having a shop paint them? I know fiberglass and urethane look different from metal with paint, but the colors look way off. You can turn off the HDR setting and use Adobe Lightroom to edit the photos. You can find some nice plugins for car pics and editing will go quickly.

    I am painting the parts with a spray can lol. Just so that I don't ride around with primer or otherwise unpainted parts, so I can get a feel for how it all works together before I get a respray of the entire car.

    I actually don't use HDR on most of my photos, all of the recent ones are just normal point and shoot. I'll have to looking into Lightroom if it's free lol.

    That didn't hurt so much.

    You use HDR in every single picture. Thats why I havent really liked your lexus at all until you started the "tow truck picking up car today," thread.
