    Inspiration

What was all of your peoples inspiration to modify cars?? What made you do it and keep doing it through all the hard times and the easy times??

For me, i just loved cars ever since i was little, i first drove a car when i was 10 years old with my neighbor(who i work on cars with alot, but not as much as i would like too now) I drove my first 5spd when i was 12 years old and only stalled out once.

So what about you guys, how'd it all start??

my dad. he used to be a amature rally car driver so when i was growing up back in india. we'd have like 3 cars in our driveway gettin prepped for the week long run of the Himalayan Rally. Ever since then i've been into cars and I've stuck to it.

    lots of factors for me....

    1. i like being different... a "stock" car just doesnt thrill me, pretty much everything i own i try for it to be custom or rare, from sneakers and hats to cars and computers

2.my trip to the dominican republic back in like 96...the scene over there is RIDICULOUS, they were doing JDM back when every1 wanted white rims and flourescent paint. not to mention they actually get the good cars from japan not the watered down crap we get

    3. and my biggest inspiration ........

as for me I just felt like stock cars sucked... it all started with andys grand prix and doing the sterio and all just evolved from there.

it was when my parents bought me my first little 4-wheeler and supposedly i slept with a wiper as well. every since i have messed with cars and our cars and just fell in love with them. but what inspired me to design was Marcelo Gandini (designer of the first Lambo diablo back in 90') that got me started ever since it is the only car that i would ever want just for the design itself.Pretty much since i was a spoiled little brat when i was young i got everything i wanted from, go karts, to golf carts, to everything pretty much i wanted i got. now when i need the money to get an engine i am now on my own finally. I have the money to buy it but its just not worth to fix it now that i am going to leave withina few months.
One of my addings to my inspiration is that a lot of my cousins are druggies and crap or have not done anything with thier lives. So spending money on my car is my drug, and my inspiration at the same time because i change it anytime i want to.
