Anyone know a good junkyard or parts place... My front park light got shattered and I can not find it anywhere. Even Toyota can not give me one from anywhere here in the US or Japan (maybe cuz the car was made in cali?!?!?).

1988 toyota corolla FX front driver park light. Really, all i need is the plastic WHITE/CLEAR lens. The orange one is fine.

Don't think I've ever seen the corner lights with that shape before.

I can check a website for my junkyard that has a list of all the cars.

Go to car-part.com and search for your 1988 Toyota Corolla FX/FX16 "Marker/Fog Light, Front" and enter your zipcode.

^ you may be on to something there! I found a couple close to houston. I'll try to roam around on Monday.

    Thanks.

    P.S.
Worst comes to worst, I've devised a back-up plastic lens. It looks decent at best, but according to people who should know a thing or two about passing the safety inspection, it should pass me...

Well, car-part worked for me. That's how I found the Prizm near me to do the interior swap.

I guess it was easier to sell the car than use car-part.com and get a light :/

sold it for 1200. I literally dont have anywhere to put the car - driveway is full and its illegal to park on the road. I didnt mention that my mom just bought another car which will more than likely be my grad present.

i never thought of ever selling the car - until my grad present arrived. I was going to have to choose between spending 3k on the old clunker, or 3k on my new car, there was no argument. After it's all said and done, it was my first car; I loved it, cared for it, and kept it alive as long as I can. Now it's time to move on to BIGGER and BETTER things...

So, you sold this car, you're getting another one for free, and you have no room for more cars. So..... remind me again why you need a Miata (or other car)?

Sorry guys. School + work + new car research = no sleep.

New car is RWD, inexpensive, and brand spanking new. 2+2 seater. That's as much as I'll say before she actually hands over the keys.

I'm still looking for a miata for strict track use - autox or circuit (or whatever those bigger racetracks are i.e. MSR Houston) Whenever I get this new car, and it's officially mine, I'll probably do autox events but definitely no circuit races. Body panels can be expensive on a 2012 car.

Maybe a new MX-5? Or a Gen coupe. Or a BR-Z or FR-S. I call it. One of those 4 lol

Doubt it MX5 will ever be 2x2 seating.

Whenever the BRz or FRs comes out, I may trade this car in... Depending on how much I've already modded this...

I actually wouldent throw a hissy fit if someone on the forum bought a hyndai genesis coupe.
Those things are pretty sweet and RWD. Aside from the Charger the Genesis is the other mascot for the tv show "Burn Notice."
