GT25R, GT28R, or GT28RS, one of those should do nicely. I'm going to swap out my T3 for a GT28RS when I get some cash.

Does anyone actually have Dyno results from a boosted 1zz-fe? I want to even know if its worth it to go turbo? Do yo gain more HP with the turbo then the super charger? I just don't think I've ever seen a dyno chart or even a 1/4th mile slip from a turbo vrs a non-turbo 1zz-fe corolla.

hehe there will be no such kit, i'm gonna have to make all the shit -- same as I did my second setup. (well i had to make a new manifold/downpipe setup) hehe

assuming i get some money together (heh, been sayin that for a year now) i'm going to retune my stuff on a dyno... i'll be more than happy to post up the results once i'm all done. as for stock dyno's... there are plenty out there of "stock" with exhaust/intake on it... that's as good a place as any to start for stock views.

let me know how that swap works for you, i'm thinkin the same thing... you're running the T3 Super60 as well yeah?

vortex do yu have any pics? im pretty sure jtwheetzi's set up will be a bit different than other becase the intercooler has the intanks on the same side, i think the biggest nightmare will be the piping, i see corollas have a bunch of space for big turbo's. do u guys know corollas injector size, @43psi? we are planning on doing a hybrid t3/t4 turbine ar.48 stage 3, compressor ar.60 50 trim, its going to be a bit laggy. gt28 rocks, but is too high $$$$$$. i'd say t3 super 60 or the t3/t4 it's up to jtwheetzy. on whether how much money he wants to spend. we'll dyno the car and let u guys know.

2" out of the turbo and out of the engine bay, enlarged to 2.5" just before the IC then follows 2.5" until it reaches the throttle body where it is currently reduced with the silicon connector back to 2". 0% pressure drop throughout the system and it will mate directly up to the new throttle body i'm working on.

nice dude!!! i like it, i still don't know how im going to mount his turbo, i noticed that corollas need a lot of piping, so on jtwheetzy's car im trying to avoid that. anyway thanks guys. we are now just waiting on the parts.

I had a TD04 turbo in my 2002 Corolla, but this turbo is too small, I am waiting for a T3 turbo .50 trim to arrive. I will let you guys know how it runs.
As for the piping, you have to decide what way you are going to mount the turbo, I mounted mine on the bottom and some of the piping goes under the engine, you can't hardly see the turbo. I will try to post pictures.

it will be an ss log type manifold(top mount), ss 2.5" downpipe, t3/t4e ar.48 turbine stage 3, compressor ar.60 50 trim. we had trouble finding aluminum 2", so its all gonna be 2 1/4, s/x fpr, return line, apexi bov, not sure on the injectors, and not sure on whether using safcII or e-manage. the turbo will be top mount, the piping will go between the battery and the fender(hot side) cold side will go behind headlight, or probably somewhere else.

I recommend eManage. Let me know if you do take that route. I have some maps for 550cc injectors (and upgraded fuel pump).

Yeah I'm running the T3 Super 60......It takes forever to spool up. Makes it very hard to setup my boost controller, because I have to speed for so long to reach full boost. There's just not enough spacce between cops around here for that....lol I'm hoping to swap the GT28RS in early next year. I have so much other stuff to get straight before I put that turbo in. I'm also switching to an external wastegate with seperate exhaust pipe. :D I can't wait. oh BTW...I noticed monkeywrench has a moroso oil pan for sale....holds 6 quarts of oil and has 2 tapped out hole for oil return and temp gauge or whatever else. <----that's awesome.
