Anyone with a stock tach cluster.

Okay, so I got a tach cluster installed today and the display underneath the RPM gauge reads "-E" now I have a 99 with a front end conversion so I may not have the proper wiring or input but I'm wondering what yours says? Is that where the temperature read out is? If so I'd like to install one, or fabricate something. I love knowing the temperature inside or out.

ambient temp readings are there. I believe all 8th gens have wiring for them but you need to get the sensor. The plug for it should be underneath hood latch. I found this:

All you need is the sensor since all the cars are wired for it, when I did the cluster swap I just went to the junk yard and pulled one off another car, they didn't even charge me for it. The plug is located in behind the front bumper in front of the radiator.

Got it, now i just needa find the sensor and wire it all the way back.. oy yoy yoy.

Actually i have the wiring, i just need the sensor that is 130$

can you get one at junkyard?

I found one last week, but thanks kryptic. It suprises me that little piece of plastic is 120 bucks :O.

Kryptic, can you get me the center console box in gray? The box under the radio. In the darkest gray you can find. please make sure its in good shape. No scratches please.
