I hate what they stand for. I hate you can't install apps from the web, unless you hack it. I hate how there is no flash support. I hate how they don't allow porn, or anything they don't approve of. I hate how its like training wheels for people who can't actually use a computer. I hate how they rip off the general population, but no one seems to give a shit. I hate how a lot of apple owners are hipsters, and people who complain about corporations ripping people off, yet they are buying fucking apple products.

i won't be buying it, but as my role as cad manager keeps expanding i can see a use for a tablet especially in meetings. i have an iphone and don't care for it, but i got sucked into the apps and don't feel like switching to android. i also hate the "genius" bar when they're not really a genius. it took 3 iphones 3gs for me to get one that works properly. luckily all replaced for free, but a pain in the ass to set up every time.

god, i just fricken got the iphone 4, now the iphone 5 is coming out. apple is pissing me off.

Interestingly, Apple is the only company to offer such a low priced tablet. No other company can really get close unless they are looking to lose a lot of money. That may change in the future but that is what it is right now.

Just as Jeremy Clarkson and the UK Top Gear crew feel that Audi drivers in UK are cocks, I'm going to say Apple owners are cocks. LOL

go build a computer on apples website...they charged 700 dollars to upgrade your hard drive from 250gb to 500gb. how is taht not ripping you off?

I don't know what apple website you've been surfing. I'm going to assume you were looking up the Macbook since that is the only model with a $250GB hard drive. Upgrading to a 500 GB drive is only $100. Still think its expensive? well its an Apple. haha. But also with the increased price is make sure that all components will work well and all features as well. If you ever tried replacing apple parts, not every part you buy afterwards will work. Apple is very picky. Also I beleive (and if there is an apple genius here they can correct me) that they prefer to have a HD with a 3d accelerometer built in the the drive rather than on the mobo to be used so the shock protection works better. Usually the drives with the sensors built in are more expensive than regular drives.

You said it your self, apple is too picky with hardware. If my hard drive dies I can go get a million different replacements. Not to mention my pc also scores higher 3dmarks then an a mac of equal specs, and my comp probably cost 3,000 dollars less. How can you justify spending 3000 dollars on something that gives you less of everything? Less ram, less hard drive, less video, less customizing, lack of support, DRM (the death of everything), training wheels, slower performance. if you get a virus on a PC you are doing something wrong, so that is an irrelevant excuse to get a MAC.

Well on the other hand, only a small percentage of people in this world really care about customization. More people want reliability. If you think of all the old macs that are still working and all the windows based computer that are still working, you'll find more macs still chugging along which also required much less maintenance most likely. Thats a good thing for an average Joe. In addition, Steve jobs has a brilliant marketing tactic. Now Don't get me wrong, I think apple sucks too (for the past 7 years) but Apple is a good company. I'm kicking myself in the butt for not investing in their stock back in 98.

Well I have no problems with Audi drivers here in Southern california. I do have problems with BMW drivers amd Merc Drivers (especially ones driving brabus) but the drivers I hate the most are prius drivers. OMG, I see so many cutting me off. they can't drive. Prius cars also have the most dings on their car even though its new.. just goes to show how bad of drivers most are.

he's brilliant at marketing, but its just dirty the way he rips people off. Sure, old macs work just fine....but I have an old computer still running windows 95...so to say a PC can't last as long as a mac is irrelevant. Besides, people buying macs(or even apple prodcuts) think its better for movies, graphics, music, ect....and in reality it is just as good as a PC and PCs can be had for cheaper. Hell you can buy 3 pcs for the price of a mac, and just swap out a new PC when your original one shits out. And people who buy macs don't hold onto them for 20 years at a time, the majority will just buy a new one when it comes out, so it is really irrelevant to say thats why people buy them.



back on topic: a rock is still better than the ipad, rocks can survive falls and multi-task =D
