    @corollagt
    sorry i just read your post.
    my car is sleeper status. I have gone through 3 engines, a transmission, and a tranny rebuild. I was never turboed, but I had it tuned up from the get-go. I had the MWR big-bore kit to bore it out to nearly 2l (1.94), was running e-manage from MWR that did some funky tweaks with the injection and a/f ratio to net about 15hp out of the 1zz (so they claimed). That was the first engine. Second engine was with a celica gt intake/throttle body and the celica ECU retuned because I didnt have vvti (it worked, because the celica ecu was tuned to get better mid/high end where as the corollas was low/middle end).....the tranny....well corolla tranny's blow nuff said. I have a ACT stage 2 clutch, which was rated up to 300hp or something so it should be able to handle rough driving. and some flywheel (forget what brand, i think its a fidanza, its been a while) My newest engine is mostly stock, I had new valves/valve springs put in...new cam shafts (just stock) and put the stock throttlebody/intake manifold in there. I also have the OBX header, but it cost me 300 bucks to get all the welds re-done and the o2 sensor to actually fit (they don't fit in them stock). I also have Ksports, trd strut bar, whiteline rear sway, stock front sway, custom rear strut brace that I fabbed behind the seat (kinda looks like the stock one if you don't have fold down seats). I am one of the oldest on this board who still rocks a corolla, CB beats me, but I think he's the only old school one who still posts and owns a corolla. So i've seen them all come and go at this point.

    I also rock the stock steelies because they are durable enough for me without spending too much money. Rota's break, Konig's break (sorta, some kid broke one on his WRX), can't afford Buddy Clubs or Toms, and yeah. Basically, I don't care for wheels....I have really good rubbers on there as is, and they are only 20 bucks at the junk yard if i curb rash one.

    If you want numbers, I never dynod...but I guestimate I was making 130-140 horse at the wheels. I ran a 15.35 quarter mile up here at bandimere right out of high school (6 years ago), and based on the Weight of the car and the speed of the 1/4 you can kinda guess the horsepower. (Time and speed of the quarter mile, and the vehicles weight there is a calculator here:http://www.dragtimes.com/horsepower-et-trap-speed-calculator.php?et=15.34&trap=90&weight=2400&submitButtonName=Calculate Horsepower Estimate my trap speed was 89.95m time was 15.35 vehicle weighs a little less than 2400, but with me probably 2500)

    Now? Probably a lot less horsepower, just trying to make my car last till I graduate college this fall. Still have the suspension.

    tl;dr: I'm an old school motherfucker whose been around these boards, seen everything there was to see, done almost every mod there was to be done.

    edit:

    Right now I am rockin some Volkl Carvers I got for $40 at a ski rental place. They put some brand new atomic bindings on them free of charge too, well they were from "last year" and they were just gonna sell them to a ski outlet. But I am going to buy some nice skis this summer at Sniagrab (huge summer ski sale). I got some Atomic B-techs (boots) just last summer and they are pretty bawler.

    I would of done something similar if I had a quality ski shop around me since skiing is expensive. I picked up Armada T-Hall's for $200 during an end of season sale and just picked up some Salomon SPK team boots that were last year models.

    Yeah, the used ski-rentals are such a great deal. The skis are about 6 years old, but they have good laminate and edges. Old model stuff is always super cheap, last summer they had some 700 dollar Salomon skis going for about 150....with bindings. Its such a steal...and its not like they are shitty skis or anything. I don't understand it, but whatever.

    Lol ive had my share of work done to my car and other cars. Dont think that i havent swapped out a motor or changed out suspensions and what not. I just dont know much about after market motor parts for corollas. im the only one of my friends that has a corolla. Im willing to bet im the only one here to swap a 2JZ into a 240 with a lsd and hicas subframe wap. Or a full STI motor swap into a 2.5RS.

    Our corollas used to not be so bastardized in the aftermarket scene....and well technically if you have vvti you can fully rebuild it with the mwr rebuild kits and push 200+hp.

    maybe it's just me, but looks like rims are too wide and tires smaller side wall and more stretch. are you running spacers you can take out to get the wheels in a little more? that would probably make it look better instead of like a bad copy of a vw.

    Unless you want her taking back the Rolla in a week or two i would discourage her from getting a civic, for obvious reasons lol. What are your plans with it though?
