I was in the industry when drifting was kicking off in the states. If you have any option dvd's of america back in like 03-04, you'll probably see me in the background. haha. not as a driver though. driving was more a hobby. I was a photographer and doing hella media stuff back then. Anyway, I've always been a fan of WRC. I just put myself in the drifting scene cuz at the time that was the closest thing I can get to in the auto sport scene.

    Of me?

That was my favorite driver at the time. Ken Maeda. I was one of the few who liked his style. He never really became big. I think he retired in the end.. but yah.. those were the good old days. 2 hours of sleep a day and running around all day taking pictures and surviving on fast food and redbull. I remember there was one time when the NOS drink was sponsoring and we all got free NOS all day. I crashed so hard after the event..

of cars? there's too many. LOL

I was at the first drift event at the Long Beach Grand Prix in... 05 I think it was. Don't know where the pics are though. As for in real life, well I drive a 99 Corolla. How much drifting do you think I do.

    ^^^ Come one man!

Just because someone doesn't like drifting doesn't automatically mean they are only a 1/4 mile junky.

Its been proven many times - drifting is just for scrubbing off speed and for style. In road courses, the standard driving line will always be faster.

For me - drifting is just OK, nothing to get too excited about. My 7 year old son, on the other hand, thinks drifting is the best thing since Youtube.

First Drift Event was in CA Speedway in 2004 along with JGTC. I only knew a hand full of Drifters back then but knew most of the GT racers. LOL. Loved the race queens too.

Cars like this make people want a gaint wing and guady body kit without realizing a proper suspension setup, grade A wheels, proper brakes and lots of engine work is all that's needed.
