    You can also buy that very same fitting for around $6 and drill and tap your own tee off line. Just go to any Autozone and they have it in the back. $20 shipped seems pricey but hey... not many people can drill and tap things themselves...

    autozone fittings are made of brass, brass is a soft metal which would easily break off if a oil pressure sender or other excess weight is place on it - combined with engine vibrations. Besides where are you going to find a 1/8" BSPT tap without special ordering it?

    The tap can be had for $2.00 at a local machine parts store near me.

    I posted that tap on another thread. I just ordered an oil line kit from them, which includes the tap.
