Rode a yamaha 2010 r1 @road Atlanta

Just got back from Road Atlanta and wow I have to say my first time riding on that track and I got hooked pretty bad. Yamaha had a demo ride and I was lucky enought to get invited so I had a few run's with the new Yamaha r1. Here are my pictures from today's event.

Nothing like riding the track... Although I have yet to do an official one.

There is a track here that lets people "parade lap" around the track while people who paid are on lunch. Usually parade laps are 2-3 laps depending on the track. On the one I go to, its 10 mins worth - around 10 or so laps.

On my first parade lap, my knees were shaking bad after the laps lol.

i am really jealous... i just rode my first gixxer 6 on a track last weekend, same thing got off with shakey legs, but damn is it fun

Dude I am so damn jealous you got to rip that thing around the track... I rode a lot with my old k7 Gixxer but never did a track day... They get expensive lol
