OMG DropBox is awesome for forums

Anyone here use DropBox? It's awesome. I just got invited yesterday to use it. Below is my link you can use to sign up and I will get 250mb more free space. You get 2gb for free right off the bat and it maps it to a folder on your local computer so you just drag and drop stuff in and out and keep all your music and photos synced between your home and work machines. It also is cool for the Toyota forum because you can copy any images you take in to your local folder then right click and get a copy to the internet link to it. That way you just drag your files off your camera in to the dropbox folder and then copy the link and paste it in the img tags on the forum and your done. I have been using Smugmug and Photobucket in the past but this blows them away. If you use my link below to sign up for a free account I will get 250mb more free space so I would appricate it And please before saying this is off topic I am sharing this for people that want to post pictures of there cars in the forum since this makes it so freaking simple to do.

Yeah, it's been a while :) I mostly hang out on Nasioc.com now since I drive an STI. But I still have the Corolla, its parked right now but I plan to get it back on the road in the future. I just need to install the ESC-1 and put a smaller string in the waste gate, everything else is fine.

I love DropBox. Been using it for a few weeks. Great for sending photos/music to friends & family, too. Much easier to make a shared folder than send a bunch of emails w/ attachments.

    Hi jerry :)

I use dropbox already, very useful. I've also come up with a great way to use it for work documents (if I worked).

You can use truecrypt to create a up to 2GB encrypted archive then use keyfiles on your home and work computer to unlock it. place that encrypted file in your dropbox and you have a 2 password level AES encrypted folder. even if they get your dropbox password the data would be useless without the keyfiles. :)
